The women’s eyes were made to appear quite dark. The entire eye was edged with black eyeliner all the way to the upper eyelid. Similarly, eyelashes were also painted black, and eyebrows were worn dark and overextended. Women wore Mascara proudly, as it appeared to show off their thick black lashes.
